Straw Hat Samurai 2 is an HTML5 remake of the popular fighting game set in feudal Japan. It is the sequel to the game Straw Hat Samurai, which is also available on Starbie. In this action game, the player is a skillful samurai warrior. After the events of the first game, the Aka-Ryu army had been pushed back through the mountain pass. However, the two forts guarding the pass remain under siege.
The player must take a shortcut through the forest and attack the enemy warriors to create a diversion. The player can attack the enemy warriors by swiping across them. The samurai will then slash the enemies with his sword. New in this sequel is the Shunpo-mode. By engaging the Shunpo-mode, the player can move so fast that is seems as if time is standing still. However, the samurai cannot keep this up for long since it will drain him of energy.
